The SP Sport 5000 is an exceptionally efficient, all-season Original Equipment (OE) symmetrical tyre designed for performance sedans, sporty coupes, and sports cars. Excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions is provided by the tread pattern's Hydromax design. The large interconnected blocks provide excellent stability and exceptional control over dry cornering. In addition to offering good traction, the interdependent inner tread blocks maximize water dispersion. Their twin-cut, full-width steel belts contribute to a stable, consistent ride. For snow traction, the embedded full-face, cross-cut sipes provide a biting edge. To accommodate all weather circumstances, the tread compound raises the rolling resistance. Nylon is the material used in Dunlop's JointLess Band (JLB) technology, which offers high speed durability. It is protected with a Maximum Shield Flange label.
